Attack of the Mexican Killer Mosquitos!

Let me make a quick inventory of the effect the first week of holidays had on my body:
- About 57 mosquito bites (the little suckers are having a Fiesta on my body every night)

- A sunburnt chest (despite sunscreen factor 25 and lying ONLY in the shade)
- Around four bruises from surfing Zicatela beach
- Scratches on both sides of my hips from surfing La Punta (damn the pebbles in the sand)
But the good news is, my stomach hasn't been upset once so far (high five to Mexican food).

Today was actually our first off day from school and we enjoyed the free time hanging in a hammock at what seems to become "our" Bar at Playa Marinero. That truly felt like a good old classical beach holiday.

The day ended as chill as it had been with a meal that we cooked ourselves from the fresh vegetables and meat we had bough at the market of Puerto Escondido. Eating this meal on our own terrace with view of Playa Zicatela a cold beer in hand was just the perfect ending for a perfect day!
